Oracle Analytics Cloud for the Finance Analyst

Session Information

Finance Analysts have long depended on Essbase and Excel as their primary analytical tools. With the arrival of Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Analysts have gained new, easier means of spinning up and developing “personal” Essbase models from Excel, and the capability to add sophisticated visualizations via Data Visualization (DV) - bundled with all versions of OAC. In this session we’ll take a real-world look at how users can start to build and refine their own cubes from Excel and share them with others. We’ll then explore presenting data from these and “enterprise” applications in more intuitive ways with DV.
