Many organizations struggle to implement WMS or other supply chain initiatives in a timely fashion, mostly attributed to unoptimized and siloed designs and inadequate planning for business change management. In this session, we will go over the story of rolling out a WMS and mobile supply chain-based process in 30+ warehouses with a sharp focus on holistic process design, comprehensive business change management and rollout strategy that included a pilot phase followed with waves of rollouts in warehouses spread all across North America and Hawaii. We will review the requirements, scope, and solution. We will also review the strategy for planning, training, testing, rollout, and support during the waves. Finally we will go over the lessons learned and risk mitigation strategies we deployed during the project.
