This is an in-depth presentation on the design of your Chart of Accounts, as well as your enterprise structure elements such as Ledger, Legal Entities, Business Units and processing options in Oracle Fusion ERP General Ledger. We will describe in detail the different options that Oracle provides, discuss best practices on the Chart of Accounts design, and also related configuration data elements such as Cross Validation Rules. The presentation will focus on how to take advantage of the Essbase cube that is at the heart of the Oracle Fusion General Ledger and how the Chart of Accounts can be designed to take full advantage of the Essbase cube functionality.
